Who We Are 

U D Carpentry & Building Services is an established Cambridge-based company with over 20 years experience delivering high-quality residential building works and bespoke carpentry. We work closely with private clients, architects, and property professionals to deliver carefully considered projects, from detailed joinery packages to complete residential refurbishments.

The company is led by Umberto, a fully qualified carpenter from Cambridge with a long-standing background in residential construction and site management. His experience spans both hands-on craftsmanship and the coordination of multi-trade projects, ensuring works are delivered efficiently, safely, and to a consistently high standard.

Our role is often to provide a single, reliable point of responsibility - coordinating trades, managing programmes, and maintaining quality and compliance throughout the build process. We are accustomed to working within occupied properties and alongside professional teams, with a strong emphasis on organisation, discretion, and clear communication.

Much of our work is undertaken for returning clients or through professional referral, reflecting the trust placed in us to manage projects thoughtfully and with minimal disruption. Where appropriate, works are prepared off-site using specialist tools and equipment, allowing for greater precision while reducing time on site.
